I've not been around these here parts for a wee while.
I have been busy relaxing into my holiday skin, and enjoying the feeling of how bendy time can be when you have five whole weeks of holidays.
I'm one week down, and super enjoying myself.
I've been doing a bit of this.......
yes, I did get roller blades for Christmas, and yes they go really fast!!! |
yes, I have fallen over a |
............and a bit of this.....
kayaking with my family- one of my favourite things to do |
some of this....
taking lots of walks |
with a bit of this thrown in for good measure
this is the top of a mountain I climbed |
this is the view from the other direction |
We had a lovely family filled Christmas, and a nice relaxing New Year.
Christmas was filled with swimming, prawns, mangoes, salads and Christmas ham.
New Years was spent on the lounge with my sweetie watching the Green Wing.
Have no photos of either activity, as was too busy enjoying both.
My son's girlfriend gave Daughter No.2 this for Christmas!!!
How amazing is he? And how amazing is she for knitting this????
So wish I had her skills.
If you have read this blog for a while you will know that unfortunately all my attempts at making things turn out like this.
Or these guys.............
Perhaps that should be my new years resolution- to make one toy that does not strike far into the hearts of all who look upon it!!
Speaking of New Years resolutions- mines is nicely taken care of thanks to Pip who has come up with A Year of Good Things: The Do-Gooders. It's a nice and simple idea of doing one good thing every day- either for yourself or for someone else. You can chart it on your blog, or privately, I'm choosing private charting, but it will be great to see what others have done. Check it out if you're interested.
And finally the lovely Lucy from In The Sky gave me the Liebster award at the end of last year. Lucy's blog is awesome, you should check it out if you haven't already. Anyway, thanks heaps Lucy.
I am hereby passing on the award to you if you have less than 200 readers, as I aboslutely can't narrow down my favourite blogs, as there are far far too many. And you know your blog is my favourite anyway, yes, you!!!!
Take care all
xxxxxx
