Reasons to be cheerful- Part Three

Good Morning. Today is just a quick post- linking in with Planet Penny and her Reasons To Be Cheerful, which I think is a fine start to the day.
Without further ado, the things I have to be grateful for today are:

I found these bad boys in a charity shop, and just looking at them makes me smile

I read about ways to propagate rosemary and mint by just cutting them, dipping in honey,  and popping them in water- who knew???? Also along the way discovering a use for all those favourite but broken or chipped cups!! And saving me lots of money, because I do love me a big herb garden, with lots of sweet smelling things.

And lastly, and most importantly, my lovely son turns 18 today. He is my first-born, and I love him dearly, and cannot wait for him to wake up now!
I hope you all have reasons to be cheerful, don't forget to either join in, or just check out other peoples reasons to be cheerful.

P.S. There is no Part 3, I just like the song!

  8. Thanks for the wonderful herb tip! I have a treasured, gnarled rosemary plant about 14 years old that I grew from seed - and would love to propagate it.

Love the "bad boys". A very happy birthday to your son.

  9. Happy Birthday to your son, but time flies so fast. Don't you wish you could shrink them back to the age of 5 just for a day?

    Hugs to you,
    Meredith

  10. Oh, I just love your 'bad boys' from the charity shop! I have a similar collection and must post about them one day- I keep telling the mister that they're for our daughter's room, but she's too small to have them yet, so they're keeping warm on the mantlepiece! (he's buying it anyway) !!
    Xx
